Yes, if we save water, Singapore will not need as much water as before thus, the amount of water being use at Linggiu Reservoir, Johor, Malaysia will be lesser thus, the water level will derease.
Hi Yusof,
You have stated a good point that reducing water usage can help to conserve water in the reservoir, even it is by a small margin. What about the extreme hot and dry weather? It is entire due to human activities? Have you manage to check this out?
Hi Yuheng
It's always correct and good habit to save water as it is a precious resource. How about the on-going drought and hot weather, will be cause our water resource to decrease as well?
Yes. Reducing water usage in our homes can help to improve the water level in Linggiu Reservoir. Since we are using less water in our homes, less water will needed to be taken out from the reservoir. However, because of evaporation, water level may still decrease but the fact that we are using less water helps to increase the water level, even if it is just by a little bit.
yes because saving water means that Singapore will not need to take much water from the Linggiu Reservoir which means that the reservoir will have more water in it.
